Vasyl of Lviv

Vasyl of Lviv [Василь; Vasyl'], b and d ? Painter at the court of King Jan III Sobieski in Zhovkva. Between 1659 and 1687 he painted a portrait of Jan III (now in the Uffizi Gallery in Florence), murals depicting the Polish-Turkish War (in the Roman Catholic church in Zhovkva), and icons for the Krekhiv Monastery.
