Zolotonoshka River [Золотоношка; Zolotonoška] (also Zolotonosha). (Map: Zolotonoshka River.) A left-bank tributary of the Dnipro River that flows southward for 88 km in Cherkasy oblast before emptying into the Kremenchuk Reservoir. It drains a basin area of 847 sq km. The river, approximately 5 m in width, has a valley which is marshy in places. It is used for water supply, irrigation, and pisciculture. The city of Zolotonosha is situated on it.
