Khliborobs’ka pravda

Khliborobs’ka pravda (Farmer's Truth). A political weekly newspaper published irregularly in Chernivtsi from 1924 to 1938. In 1923 it came out under the title Khliborob (Farmer). Until 1930 it described itself as the official paper of the Romanian National Farmer's party, and then of the Ukrainian Farmer's party (although no such party existed). It supported official Romanian policy and attacked the Ukrainian National party. The publisher and editor was Kost Krakaliia. Among its contributors were H. Andriiashchuk, Sydoniia Nykorovych-Hnidy (who also edited its literary and scholarly supplement and the women's page in 1935), O. Kovalsky, and I. Bordeiny.
