Pravoslavnyi rus’kyi kalendar

Pravoslavnyi rus’kyi kalendar («Православний руський календар; Orthodox Ruthenian Calendar). An annual calendar (kalendar) of the Ruska Besida in Bukovyna, published from 1874 to 1918 in Chernivtsi. From the 1890s it appeared as Bukovyns’kyi pravoslavnyi kalendar or Iliustrovanyi bukovyns’kyi pravoslavnyi kalendar. It contained poetry, prose, and much information on the history of Bukovyna and especially the Ukrainian Orthodox church there. The editors included Sydir Vorobkevych and Hryhorii Vorobkevych, Ye. Kalytovsky, and Omelian Popovych. In 1890 it had a pressrun of 1,500.
