Prykhodko, Antin

Prykhodko, Antin [Приходько, Антін; Pryxod'ko], b 1891 in Stanytsia Novorozhdestvenska, Kuban, d 29 January 1938 in Arkhangelsk, RSFSR. Political figure. In 1917 he represented the Ukrainian Party of Socialist Revolutionaries in the Central Rada. Afterward he was one of the leading Borotbists and, from 1920, a member of the CP(B)U. In the 1920s he held several important portfolios in the Soviet Ukrainian government, including those of deputy people's commissar of education and of justice. He was arrested and executed during the Stalinist terror.
