Ukrainian Federative Democratic party

Ukrainian Federative Democratic party (Українська федеративно-демократична партія; Ukrainska federatyvno-demokratychna partiia). A minor conservative party founded in December 1917 by former members of the Hromada of Kyiv, among them Volodymyr Naumenko, Bohdan Kistiakovsky, I. Kviatkovsky, Ivan Luchytsky, and Volodymyr Ihnatovych. Their program for the transformation of the Russian Empire into a federation of autonomous lands and their passive opposition to Ukrainian independence won them little support, and the party had virtually no impact on revolutionary events in Ukraine.
