Zakhariiasevych, Teodor

Zakhariiasevych, Teodor [Захаріясевич, Теодор; Zaxarijasevyč], b 1759, d 1808. Ukrainian Catholic priest and professor. A vice-rector of the Greek Catholic Theological Seminary in Lviv, he taught church history at the Studium Ruthenum and translated into Ukrainian the standard church history text then used in the Austrian Empire, M. Dannenmayer’s Institutiones historiae ecclesiasticae Novi Testamenti. His translation was published in Lviv in 1790.
