Zhinochyi holos

Zhinochyi holos [«Жіночий голос»; Woman’s Voice]. A women’s journal published monthly in Lviv in 1931–5 as a supplement to Hromads’kyi holos, and then monthly (to 1937) and semimonthly to 1939 as the organ of the Union of Ukrainian Working Women, an organization affiliated with the Ukrainian Socialist Radical party. Edited by Franka Stakhiv with the assistance of I. Blazhkevych, Anastasiia Mykytchuk, and I. Muryn, it was concerned primarily with organizing working women in Western Ukraine and published articles on political affairs, child rearing, health, and hygiene, as well as literary works.
