Kosiachenko, Hryhorii [Косяченко, Григорій; Kosjačenko, Hryhorij], b 29 September 1903 in Cherniakhivka, Poltava gubernia, d 11 February 1935 in Kyiv. Poet and journalist. A member of the writers’ groups Hart and the All-Ukrainian Association of Proletarian Writers in Kyiv in the 1920s, he wrote the poetry collections Vikholy (Snowstorms, 1927), Zalizna krov (Iron Blood, 1927), Malyi Kobzar (Small Kobzar, 1928), Skhid sontsia (Sunrise, 1928), Shtorm (The Assault, 1929), Polustanok (The Railway Stop, 1930), Doroha (The Road, 1931), and Bornia i dni (The Struggle and the Days, 1932). He was arrested during the Stalinist terror in 1932 and later executed.
