Perepeliuk, Volodymyr [Перепелюк, Володимир; Perepeljuk], b 21 November 1910 in Boryshkivtsi, Kamianets-Podilskyi county, Podilia gubernia, d 3 July 2000 in Voronovytsia, Vinnytsia raion, Vinnytsia oblast. Kobza and bandura player. He learned the art from the bandura trio of the Vinnytsia Philharmonic. In 1941 he joined the new Ukrainian Ethnographic Ensemble of Folk Singers and Kobza Players at the Kyiv Philharmonic and composed for it a number of dumas about Semen Palii and about the Cossack-Polish War. In 1944 he became a kobza soloist with the Verovka State Chorus, with which he performed his own as well as folk dumas. He described his travels abroad in Povist' pro narodnyi khor (The Story of the [Verovka] State Chorus, 1970).
