Society of Ukrainian Lawyers (Товариство українських правників; Tovarystvo ukrainskykh pravnykiv). An association of various legal specialists, including legal scholars, in Galicia, founded in Lviv in 1909. Its purpose was to promote the participation of Ukrainian lawyers in public life and to improve their professional qualifications. Stanyslav Dnistriansky was the first president. The more notable presidents in the interwar period were Volodymyr Detsykevych and Zenon Lukavetsky. The society published Pravnychyi vistnyk (1910–13), and in 1914 it organized a national congress in Lviv.
