Teisseyre, Wawrzyniec, b 10 August 1860 in Cracow, d 2 April 1939 in Lviv. Geologist. From 1925 he served as a professor at the Lviv Polytechnical Institute and conducted oil explorations in Galicia and Romania. His works deal with the tectonic formations of the Carpathian Mountains, Subcarpathia, and Podilia. They include a geological atlas of Galicia (1900).
