Askoldova Mohyla [Аскольдова могила] (Askold's Mound). Part of a picturesque park in Kyiv on the right bank of the Dnipro River. According to old legends, Prince Askold is buried here. Until 1809 a wooden church stood at the site of Askold's mound. In 1810 the architect Andrei Melensky replaced this church with a brick church-rotunda. In 1937 the church was rebuilt into a pavilion.
