Alma River

Alma River [Al’ma] (Map: Alma River). River in the Crimea, the upper portion of which flows through the Crimean Mountains and the lower through the steppes. The Alma is 84 km long, and its basin has an area 635 sq km. Its waters are used mostly for irrigation.
