Koreiz [Korejiz]. Map: IX-15. Town smt (2001 pop 6,529) on the southeastern coast of the Crimea (see Crimean southern shore) at the foot of Mount Ai-Petri. Founded in the late 17th century, it is a health-resort center administered by the Yalta municipal council. About 50,000 people stay there each year.
