Nasha derzhava

Nasha derzhava («Наша держава»; Our State). A semimonthly conservative newspaper published in Toronto from July 1952 to 1955. It was founded after a split in the United Hetman Organization by Mykhailo Hetman, who earlier had edited Ukraïns’kyi robitnyk, the organization’s organ. Nasha derzhava was pro-hetmanite in orientation but also stressed its loyalty to Canada. It was succeeded by Bat’kivshchyna (Toronto).
