Postup (Winnipeg)

Postup (Winnipeg) (Progress). A weekly organ of the Winnipeg archeparchy of the Ukrainian Catholic church in Canada, published since February 1959. It contains articles on religious, cultural, and historical topics and reports on church affairs in Canada, Ukraine, and elsewhere. Since 1960 the paper has included a separate English-language section, and since 1968 it has published the supplement Mii pryiatel’ for children. The first editor of Postup, Roman Danylevych, was succeeded by S. Izhyk in 1962.
