Samara Bay

Samara Bay [Самарська затока; Samarska zatoka]. An artificial lake near the mouth of the Samara River that connects to the Dnipro Reservoir, formed above the dam of the Dnipro Hydroelectric Station in Zaporizhia. Formerly known as Lenin Lake, the lake is 10 km long and up to 3 km wide and has a basin area of 17 sq km.
