Storozhova Mohyla

Storozhova Mohyla. A kurhan of the Yamna archeological culture complex dating back to the late 3rd millennium BC and located near Stari Kodaky, Dnipro raion, Dnipropetrovsk oblast. Excavations in 1949 by Aleksei Terenozhkin uncovered three corpses covered with red paint and buried in a crouched position. One of the graves also contained the first two-wheeled cart unearthed in Ukraine.
