Storozhova Mohyla

Storozhova Mohyla. A Pit-Grave culture kurhan of the late 3rd millennium BC near Stari Kodaky, Dnipropetrovsk raion. Excavations in 1949 by Aleksei Terenozhkin uncovered three corpses covered with red paint and buried in a crouched position. One of the graves also contained the first two-wheeled cart unearthed in Ukraine.
