Ukrainian Women’s Alliance in Venezuela

Ukrainian Women’s Alliance in Venezuela (Об’єднання українських жінок Венесуелі; Obiednannia ukrainskykh zhinok Venesueli). An autonomous women’s section of the Ukrainian Hromada in Venezuela, founded in 1949 in Caracas. The alliance has organized national festivals, children’s events, and recreational activities. It ran two kindergartens and a Saturday school and raised funds for building the Ukrainian People's Home. Its presidents have been H. Koval, E. Berezhna, E. Sliusar, O. Boshko, S. Prypkhan, L. Pochynok, and M. Mazniak.
