Vidrodzhennia

Vidrodzhennia («Відродження»; Rebirth). A temperance journal published monthly in 1928–39. In 1928–9 it was called My molodi, and appeared in Rohatyn under the editorship of M. Chaikovsky and Yu. Kamenetsky. In 1930 it became the organ of the Vidrodzhennia temperance society and was renamed. Thenceforth it was published in Lviv and edited by Kamenetsky and then Sofiia Parfanovych-Volchuk. The journal condemned smoking as well as drinking of alcohol and advocated a healthy lifestyle. In 1930 it appeared in a pressrun of 4,000 copies.
