Radians’ka muzyka [«Радянська музика»; Soviet Music]. A music journal published in Kyiv by the Union of Composers of Ukraine. A successor to the music journal Muzyka, it came out as a monthly in 1933–4 and a bimonthly in 1936–41. A total of 54 issues appeared. Its editors were Andrii Olkhovsky and O. Bilokopytov. The journal served as the ideological standard of the composers’ union and tended to deal more with propaganda than with art.
