Zavadovsky, Yevstakhii [Завадовський, Євстахій; Zavadovs’kyj, Jevstaxij] (Zavadov), b and d ? Wood engraver of the second half of the 17th and the beginning of the 18th century. He worked in Kyiv (for the Kyivan Cave Monastery Press) and Lviv (for the Lviv Dormition Brotherhood Press), where he decorated and illustrated Psalters (1677, 1697, 1703, 1708), Liturgicons (1681), an Octoechos (1686), a Gospel (1690), an Anthologion (1694), an Apostolos (1696), and a daily prayer book (1701). His works include engravings of the evangelists Matthew (1681), John (1683), and Luke (1744), The Crucifixion (1691), God on His Throne (1697), and Christ (1712). He signed his works with the initials EZ.
