Khliborob (Lviv, Kolomyia)

Khliborob (Lviv, Kolomyia) (Farmer). A popular semimonthly (later monthly) published in Lviv and Kolomyia from April 1891 to September 1895 by the Ukrainian Radical party. Its editors were Ivan Franko, Mykhailo Pavlyk, and S. Danylovych. The paper discussed sociopolitical and economic issues affecting the rural population. It published articles by Mykhailo Drahomanov, Ivan Herasymovych, Vasyl Stefanyk, and Les Martovych, as well as literary works by I. Franko, L. Martovych, and Vladimir Korolenko.
