Klymovych, Petro

Klymovych, Petro [Климович, Петро; Klymovyč], b 1855 in Orlyk, Poltava gubernia, d 1920 in Odesa. Lawyer and political leader. In 1878 he graduated from the law department of Odesa University. As a university student and took an active part in Ukrainian community life in Odesa and joined the Odesa Hromada. Under the Central Rada he served as deputy finance minister in Vsevolod Holubovych’s cabinet (see Council of National Ministers of the Ukrainian National Republic). He was executed by the Bolsheviks.
