Krasnokutskyi kurhan

Krasnokutskyi kurhan [Краснокутський курган]. A Scythian kurhan from the 4th to the early 3rd centuries BC situated near Loshkarivka, Nikopol raion, Dnipropetrovsk oblast. Ivan Zabelin's excavation of the kurhan in 1860 uncovered the pillaged grave of a Scythian chieftain, the skeletons of four horses, horse armor with silver ornaments, and parts of two wooden carts.
