Literaturnyi sbornik

Literaturnyi sbornik (Literary Miscellany). A literary and historical serial published by the Halytsko-Ruska Matytsia society in Lviv in 1865–6, 1868–9, 1874, 1885–6, 1889, 1891, and 1897. Until 1869 it was called Naukovyi sbornik. The serial contained pioneering articles in Galician history, philology, and ethnography and some belletristic works by Yakiv Holovatsky, Antin Petrushevych, Mykola Ustyianovych, V. Stefanovych, Isydor Sharanevych, O. Lepky, Ipolit Volodymyr Terletsky, Mykola Kostomarov, Ivan Hushalevych, Ivan Ozarkevych, and others. The serial also published information about the society's activities and other scholarly developments in Lviv. The 1874, 1891, and 1897 issues consisted primarily of Petrushevych's Galician-Volhynian chronicle for the years 1600–1772. From 1885 B. Didytsky was the serial's editor.
