Ukrainian Catholic Women's League of Canada

Ukrainian Catholic Women's League of Canada (Ліґа українських католицьких жінок Канади; Liga ukrainskykh katolytskykh zhinok Kanady). A religious and cultural organization formed in 1944 in Winnipeg from the women’s sections of the Ukrainian Catholic Brotherhood of Canada. The league undertakes cultural, educational, and charitable activities dedicated to strengthening the Ukrainian Catholic church in Canada. The league established eparchial museums in Edmonton, Saskatoon, and Toronto. In 1987 it had 152 parish branches with 6,200 members. From 1970 it published the quarterly magazine Nasha doroha. Its national presidents have been Mariia Dyma, K. Crouse, L. Wall, A. Pryma, S. Pototska, Iryna Pavlykovska, I. Malytska, V. Buchynska, M. Dolishna, A. Dudar, and Ya. Tatarniuk.
