Fylypovych-Pukhalsky, Lavrentii

Fylypovych-Pukhalsky, Lavrentii [Филипович-Пухальський, Лаврентій; Fylypovyč-Puxal’s’kyj, Lavrentij], ?–1610. Painter and engraver of the 16th and early 17th century working in Lviv (see Lviv Dormition Brotherhood Press). Fylypovych-Pukhalsky is considered to be the author of the engraving of Saint Luke in the Apostolos published in Lviv in 1573–4. His engravings appeared also in the publications of the Ostroh Press. He trained Hryn Ivanovych and other masters.
