Izmarahd

Izmarahd [Ізмарагд]. Publishing house and lending library in Lviv, owned by Mykhailo Matchak (1923–39). It published the complete collection of Marko Cheremshyna’s and Vasyl Stefanyk’s works, an artistic collection of bookplates, an anthology of contemporary Ukrainian poetry edited and prefaced by Yevhen Yulii Pelensky, and the works of young writers as well as classics for schoolchildren.
