Kamianka (Cherkasy oblast)

Kamianka (Cherkasy oblast) [Кам’янка; Kam'janka]. Map: IV-13. Town (2011 pop 12,956) and raion center in Cherkasy oblast, situated on the Tiasmyn River. It was founded in the early 17th century. Its industries produce machinery, building materials, foodstuffs, and alcohol. A historical museum and memorial museums of Aleksandr Pushkin and Peter Tchaikovsky are located in Kamianka.
