Nova svoboda

Nova svoboda [«Нова свобода»; New Freedom]. The only daily newspaper in the Carpatho-Ukrainian state of 1938–9 (see Carpatho-Ukraine), published in Uzhhorod, Khust, and, briefly, Sevliush (now Vynohradiv). Edited by Spyrydon Dovhal and then Vasyl Grendzha-Donsky, in 1939 it was the organ of the Ukrainian National Alliance (Transcarpathia).
