Petrus Italus

Petrus Italus (Peter the Italian), b ? in Lugano, Switzerland, d ? Sixteenth-century builder. He built the Dormition Church in Lviv (1547–59, destroyed in 1571) and a residential building (now on Virmenska Street) there. His style is typical of the Italian Renaissance.
