Stetsiuk, Hryhorii

Stetsiuk, Hryhorii [Стецюк, Григорій; Stecjuk, Hryhorij], b 13 October 1892, d 1948 in a Soviet labor camp. Galician journalist and community figure. He was chief editor of the Lviv newspaper Nash prapor (1932–9) and of Visti (Berlin) (1942–4), a paper published in Berlin for Ukrainians forced to work in Germany. He was arrested by the NKVD in 1944 and imprisoned in a concentration camp in Kazakhstan where he died.
