Zaiachkivsky, Tyt

Zaiachkivsky, Tyt [Заячківський, Тит; Zajačkivs'kyj], b 8 April 1846 in Lopianka, Stryi circle, Galicia, d 25 September 1926 in Dora, Nadvirna county, Galicia. Judge and civic figure; son of Rev Yosyp Zaiachkivsky; father of Myron Zaiachkivsky. He studied law at Lviv University and then worked in several smaller centers before returning to Lviv, where he eventually became a judge. Continually active in local Ukrainian civic life, he served as a deputy to the Galician Diet in 1895–1901.
