Nedilia (1911–12)

Nedilia (1911–12) (Sunday). A popular illustrated weekly of culture and community affairs, published from January 1911 to the end of 1912 in Lviv as a supplement to the newspaper Dilo. It was edited by Vasyl Shchurat and Yarosalv Vesolovsky (from the 18th issue). Its numerous contributors included Ivan Franko, Ivan Krypiakevych, Mykhailo Vozniak, Stepan Tomashivsky, Yuliian Romanchuk, and Vasyl Pachovsky. Nedilia did much to popularize Ukrainian history and culture and published many translations of Western European literature.
