Barbone, Pietro di (Barbona), b?, d 1589 in Lviv. Italian architect who lived and worked in Lviv. With the assistance of Paolo Romanus he built the belfry of the Dormition Church in Lviv, the so-called Korniakt Tower, in 1572–8. Barbone designed the Korniakt building for Konstiantyn Korniakt (in the Venetian Renaissance style of the 16th century) that today houses the Lviv Historical Museum.
