Senkovych, Fedir [Сенькович, Федір; Sen'kovyč], b ? in Shchyrets, Galicia, d 1631 in Lviv. Icon and portrait painter. He owned a studio in Lviv and eventually became head of the Lviv painters’ guild. He painted the first iconostasis and holy shroud in the Dormition Church in Lviv (1630). The icon of the Theotokos with the prophets from Ripne (1599) and the portrait of Ivan Danylovych have been attributed to him. After his death his studio was inherited by his student Mykola Petrakhnovych.
