Krasovsky, Petro [Красовський, Петро; Krasovs'kyj], b ? in Ticino, Switzerland, d ? Noted architect of Italian origin of the second half of the 16th century. He worked mostly in Lviv, where he built the belfry of the Armenian Cathedral in Lviv in 1570 and the belfry (not preserved) of the Dormition Church in Lviv. Art historians attribute the so-called Black Building (1577) on Market Square and the Chapel of the Three Saints (1578) to Krasovsky. His buildings display an original synthesis of local architectural traditions with the Italian Renaissance style.
